    those pictures are great — has this whole thing brought Marlis and your mom closer together?

    I especially love the last picture… he looks so tiny!

    Yes, Nina, Marlis was much friendlier to me than ever before. The first few days after Robin moved in, however, I think she was sending Shannon and Sam a message by choosing my lap rather than one of theirs.
