{"id":705,"date":"2010-01-08T12:03:42","date_gmt":"2010-01-08T19:03:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shannon.users.sonic.net\/blog\/?p=705"},"modified":"2010-01-08T12:03:42","modified_gmt":"2010-01-08T19:03:42","slug":"heartbeat","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/shannon.users.sonic.net\/blog\/?p=705","title":{"rendered":"Heartbeat!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I had a doctor&#8217;s appointment yesterday&#8212;actually a midwife appointment, as this time around I&#8217;m planning to deliver at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucsfhealth.org\/childrens\/special\/m\/58488.html\">UCSF<\/a>, taking advantage of their midwifery program (although of course doctors will also be around if it turns out that I need another C-section). <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, it was a quick visit, in-and-out, but we did get to hear the baby&#8217;s heartbeat on doppler, so that was very cool. Whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh-whoosh! Heartbeat sounds fine, my blood pressure and blood test results are all fine, everything&#8217;s fine. My next appointment is Feb. 11, when we&#8217;ll get to peek at the kid on the ultrasound.
